Sailup charges a flat ₵0.02 per SMS to every Ghanaian network. NALO Solutions publishes ₵0.032, which is 60% more per message, or about ₵120 more on every 10,000 sent. Sailup is cheaper on rate. NALO sells voice, USSD, short codes, two-way SMS, and payments alongside it, and that range is the reason to pick them.
This page is written by Sailup. Every NALO Solutions rate below is quoted from their own pricing page, checked .
A single published rate per message, with the rest of the product range sold separately. Sailup takes the other approach: one rate, to every network, from the first message.
| Provider | Rate per SMS | Structure |

The questions people actually ask before they switch.
Yes, on the published rate. Sailup charges a flat ₵0.02 per SMS and NALO Solutions publishes ₵0.032 on its bulk SMS page, so NALO costs 60% more per message. On 10,000 messages that is ₵200 against ₵320. Their page words the rate as "0.032 pesewas per SMS", which reads as ₵0.032. Rates checked 10 September 2026.
No. Sailup sends outbound SMS only — there is no inbound number to receive replies on. If your flow needs subscribers to text back and be processed automatically, NALO supports that and Sailup does not. Opt-outs on Sailup work by pointing a Reply STOP instruction at a number your team monitors, then updating the contact yourself.
Voice SMS, USSD, short codes, two-way SMS, payment solutions, and email. Sailup is an SMS API and nothing else today; the email API is still coming. If you want one vendor and one invoice across several channels, that is a real reason to choose NALO over a cheaper rate on SMS alone.
Yes. Create a Sailup account, register your sender ID for the project, generate an API key, and repoint your send calls at the Sailup endpoint. Sender IDs are registered per provider, so start that step early. Existing NALO credits are not transferable, so most teams run both briefly and let the old balance drain.
No setup fee and no sales call between you and your first message. Create an account, register a sender ID, and send.
